BIOGRAPHY

Alfredo J. Rubio is a personal injury and estate planning attorney dedicated to serving the individuals and families of South Florida — particularly those in the Hispanic community who deserve strong, knowledgeable legal representation in the language they speak and the culture they live in.

Born and raised in Miami, Mr. Rubio grew up at the intersection of several Hispanic cultures. His mother is a Miami native, his father was born in Ecuador, his grandfather Venezuelan, and his grandmother Cuban. That upbringing gave him something no law school can teach — a genuine understanding of the families he serves, where they come from, and what they are really up against when they face a legal system that can feel overwhelming and foreign.

Mr. Rubio attended St. Thomas University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2016 and was admitted to the Florida Bar. He launched Alfredo J. Rubio Law, PLLC with a clear purpose: to provide the kind of personal, bilingual, culturally aware legal representation that too many South Florida families had gone without. He is committed to protecting clients not just after something goes wrong, but before it does.

On the personal injury side, Mr. Rubio's practice is built on one principle — that injured people deserve someone who will fight as hard for them as the insurance companies fight against them. He represents clients in car accidents, slip and fall cases, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, and wrongful death claims across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, and is known for his willingness to challenge insurers who undervalue legitimate claims.

His commitment to estate planning is rooted in personal experience. When his grandmother passed away, his family navigated the process of settling her estate with a trust already in place — and the difference it made was undeniable. The transfer of her assets to her children was smooth, private, and spared the family the burden of Florida probate court during an already painful time. That experience shaped the way Mr. Rubio approaches estate planning today. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and he works with Miami families to build comprehensive plans — wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives — that provide real protection and lasting peace of mind.

In everything he does, Mr. Rubio brings the same bilingual, community-first approach. Every consultation, case update, and legal document is available in English and Spanish — because for many of the clients he serves, being able to fully understand their attorney is not a preference. It is a right. Through his firm, Alfredo J. Rubio Law, PLLC, and its platform Podemos Ayudar, he continues to build a practice defined by accessibility, accountability, and genuine care for the people of South Florida.
